Here is our Q&A with Tara Dougherty (Brand Rep)

There are not many brands that make a product like the Airbrush Bronzing Mist. Can you tell us a little more about this product and if you are developing a formula for the face?

Our Airbrush Bronzing Mist is a favorite among our customers looking for that instant glow. It’s a very gentle, hypoallergenic formula that produces a beautiful natural-looking tan with a silky, powdered finish. The Airbrush Bronzing Mist is packed with natural hydrators and oils to improve the texture and quality of skin while you bronze. What is especially fabulous about the formula is that it is already suitable for use on your face. We recommend applying make-up first, then using the Airbrush Bronzing Mist to set your look and give an added radiant glow. Just be sure to close your eyes and mouth, hold the can away from your face and spray.

What is the best way to apply the Airbrush Bronzing Mist? Is there a special technique to apply it to your hands?

The mist is very easy to apply – simply hold the nozzle about 8-10 inches away from skin and spray! Let the applicator do the work for you! Use your hand to blend the color for an even tone. The color is instant, so it’s important to avoid contact with light fabrics or clothing until the product dries, which is typically just a few seconds. For those looking for a darker tan, simply apply another coat once the first is dry. Applying to your hands is simple, we recommend washing the palms of your hands with soap and water after applying, especially if you have used your hands to blend.

AIRBRUSHIs it difficult to remove the Airbrush Bronzing Mist? What products are recommended for removal.

The Airbrush Bronzing mist washes away easily with soap and warm water. Your favorite make up remover or face wash can be used to remove the bronzer from your face.

What are the benefits of using the Sunless Tanning Gel vs. the Mist?

Our Sunless Tanning Gel and Sunless Tanning Mists are gradual formulas which do not wash away, but instead fade evenly over several days. The Airbrush Bronzing Mist is an instant bronzer which can be applied in just minutes and washed off with warm water. The Sunless Tanning Gel glides on beautifully and is ideal for the customer who likes the added confidence of applying the color with their own hands. The Sunless Tanning Mist offers the same beautiful, gradually forming tan as our Sunless Tanning Gel with the ease of a spray.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes! All of our products are dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic.

Are there any new products we can look out for?

Yes! We’ve been hard at work on some groundbreaking formulas we’re thrilled to be launching in Spring 2017. I’m afraid it’s too soon to share details, however I can say that it’s a gorgeous collection that has been in development for some time, we cannot wait to share it with you!

I haven’t tried the actual bronzer just the gel. If you wash your hands will the bronzer come off ?

I was obsessed with st tropes but after i switched to hampton sun i never went back.
i love that you can remove it really fast and even the self tanner when it starts to fade it fades naturally.
i just tell people to keep your skin moisturized . if you don’t it might get blotchy when it fades because of dry dead skin.

I have been using the bare minerals bronzer but they changed the formula and it’s just not a good product anymore. They also discontinued the face bronzer.
I might give Hampton bay a try !

Out of those 3 photos it looks more natural on the first and last. The girl in the middle looks orange . The last girl has a nice brown bronze tone like a deep tan and the first girls looks lighter but still very natural. Are there different levels? Or is it one color?

I will have to try this. I have been using loving tan but it is not easy to find in stores. You have to purchase it online. Hampton is apparently sold at Ulta so this is good!
