Say Goodbye to Dull Hair Color!

By  |  12 Comments

GLOSS IS UP!

After your salon professional has applied the color to your hair – request a double clear gloss. You may also opt for one coat of clear gloss, and depending on the frequency of shampooing your hair, applying a clear gloss every 2-3 weeks will ensure your locks are luminous!

DIRTAYY GIRL!

Wash your hair less frequently! Unless your hair is full of product build up, or you were rolling around in a Tough Mudder marathon, there is no need to shampoo your hair more than 1 or twice a week. If you tend to sweat during the night, or workout often, just allow your hair to get wet in the shower and apply a moisturizing conditioner on the ends. We recommend using a tiny amount of a moisture mask, or basic moisturizing/hydrating conditioner. Make sure to stay away from conditioners that say “repair” or “keratin”. Excessive use may weaken the hair.

appleciAN APPPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DR AWAY!

Yes – Apple Cider vinegar is the way to go! Low cost and all natural! Be sure to apply a moisturizing conditioner after, to ensure you restore to your hair! *This method can strip hair color – If you have color treated hair please avoid this method*

WOW! MY HAIR FEELS SO SOFT AND I NOTICED LESS FLAKING. THE APPLE CIDER VINEGAR SMELLS SO BAD, BUT IT MAKES YOUR HAIR SO SOFT! I USE AMIKA CONDITIONING MASK. IT SMELLS SO GOOD AND YOU DON’T NOTICE THE VINEGAR SMELL TOO MUCH. IT IS SOOOOOO WORTH IT!

apple cider vinegar is the best way to go! i use it on my face as a toner. the acid in the apple cider vinegar kills the bottle bacillus. that is what causes dandruff and other scalp issues. that is why you noticed that your scalp is flaking less. thanks for tips on gloss! i am going to try a double this time

Coconut oil keeps my hair really shiny and it does not smell as bad as the apple cider vinegar. I do prefer the apple cider vinegar though. It is really hard to get the coconut oil out!

Coconut oil is great for your lips too! It makes my hair really greasy, but it does make it healthier. I agree that it’s hard to get out! I hate that! I only put it on the ends of my hair now.
